Game review: Magic (23-8) 117, Bucks (12-18) 92

After playing a horribly flat first half and trailing by 9 points at halftime against Milwaukee, the Magic surged tremendously in the second half and could not be stopped, as they shot a spectacular 78.4% in the second half on their way to the blowout victory.

The Magic led 11-10 in the first quarter before the Bucks scored 11 points in a row to go ahead 21-11, and led after one 25-21. Things did not get better for the Magic in the second quarter, as Milwaukee extended their lead to 49-41 going into the half. The Bucks still led 64-56 with 6:41 remaining in the third, but the Magic caught fire, shooting 80% in the third quarter, and outscored the Bucks 23-10 the rest of the third and 38-25 overall to lead going into the fourth 79-74. After the Bucks scored the first 2 points of the fourth, the Magic went on a 14-0 run to put the game away, and outscored the Bucks 38-18 in the fourth. ORLANDO MAGIC vs. MILWAUKEE BUCKS
Wednesday, Dec. 30. 7:00 p.m.
Amway Arena
Orlando, FL

The Orlando Magic look (22-8, 12-3 home) to bounce back from their Christmas Day loss to the Celtics when they host the Milwaukee Bucks (12-17, 3-10 road) at 7 p.m. ET on Wednesday. The Magic are 1-0 against the Bucks this season, after they pulled out a 100-98 victory in Milwaukee on November 28. In that contest, Orlando overcame a 17-point deficit, which was capped off by a Rashard Lewis game-winning jumper with 44.7 seconds left. The Magic will attempt to start out with more energy and intensity in this game, because they’re well aware of the challenges that the Bucks present. “That team plays very, very hard and with unbelievable energy,” Magic Head Coach Stan Van Gundy said after their first meeting. Milwaukee has struggled of late, despite the returns of Michael Redd and Andrew Bogut – two players that missed the last contest against Orlando – from injury. The Bucks have won just one out of their last seven games, a fact that’s not lost on Head Coach Scott Skiles. “We have defensive issues, no question,” Skiles said. “We’re trying to find enough guys that will commit to that and we’ll keep searching until we find it.”

The week ahead for the Magic

The Orlando Magic begin the week at 22-8 (12-3 home, 10-5 road), in first place in the SE 1/2 game ahead of Atlanta. The Magic hold the overall third spot in the East behind Boston (23-6) and Cleveland (24-8). The Magic are averaging 101.2 ppg, which is 10th in the league. They are allowing 95.9 ppg, which ranks 7th in the league. Here is their schedule for the upcoming week:

Dec. 30th: Milwaukee (12-16, 3-9 road) Former Magic PG Scott Skiles coaches a talented bunch of players, including rookie guard Brandon Jennings, center Andrew Bogut, and guard Michael Redd.

January 1st: at Minnesota (7-24, 4-12 home) The Magic play on their third major holiday of the season. Al Jefferson and Kevin Love lead the T-Wolves, who have won 2 in a row.

January 2nd: at Chicago (11-17, 9-6 home) The Bulls have Tyrus Thomas back, which really helps their depth. Bulls had a solid win over New Orleans Saturday night in Thomas' first game back.

It would be great to see the Magic go 3-0 this week after the loss to the Celtics on Christmas. How will Dwight Howard respond offensively after being stifled so much by the Celtics.

Last season after 30 games, the Magic had won 7 games in a row to advance to 24-6 before losing to -who else- the Pistons.

Game review: Celtics (23-5) 86, Magic (22-8) 77

Thanks to a tremendous Boston defensive effort and ice-cold Magic shooting, especially in the first half, the Celtics, without Paul Pierce, were able to hold off a late Magic charge and come away with the victory.

The Magic had maybe their worst first half in franchise history, but actually started off quickly in the first five minutes, jumping out to a 12-6 lead, before the Celtics got going and cut the Magic lead to 19-18 after one quarter. Things really got ugly for the Magic in the second quarter. The Magic led 25-20 with under 8 minutes remaining, only to see the Celtics go on a 18-2 run the rest of the quarter and lead at the half 38-27. The Magic missed 15 of their final 16 shots of the half, and shot 10 of 40 overall in the first half, 4 for 22 in the second quarter, scoring just 8 second quarter points. The Celtics extended their lead to as much as 49-35 in the third quarter before the Magic cut their deficit to 61-53 going into the fourth quarter. The Celtics continued to maintain between a 7 and 10 point lead through the fourth quarter, until the final 2 minutes. The Magic scored 6 points in a row to cut the Celtics' lead to 76-72 with 1:22 remaining. The closest the Magic were able to get was 78-75 with 1:02 remaining, but the Celtics scored 8 of the final 10 points for the final margin of victory.

ORLANDO MAGIC vs. BOSTON CELTICS
Friday, Dec. 25. 2:30 p.m. ABC
Amway Arena
Orlando, FL

The national spotlight will shine on Orlando when the Magic (22-7, 12-2 home) host the Boston Celtics (22-5, 12-1 road) in a rematch of last season’s Eastern Conference Semifinals on Christmas at 2:30 p.m. ET. The Magic already proved they could beat the Celtics with or without Kevin Garnett on November 20, when they earned an 83-78 victory in Boston. Orlando’s biggest offseason acquisition Vince Carter poured in a game-high 26 points in that contest, while All-Star forward Rashard Lewis notched 16 points and 10 rebounds. Since that contest, the Celtics have been on a tear. They’ve gone 13-1 in that time frame and currently lead the Eastern Conference with a 22-5 record. Points will once again be at a premium for the Magic as Boston holds its opponents to a league-low 92.0 points per game.

Note: Boston SF Paul Pierce will be out of action for at least two weeks with a right knee infection.

The Magic broke open a close game at halftime and came away victorious over Houston for the Magic's first home court victory over the Rockets since April 2002, thanks to a 20 rebound effort from Dwight Howard and five players in double figures.

The Magic's largest lead was 84-67 in the fourth quarter, but the Rockets would not go away easily, as they came as close as 90-82, but the Magic went on a 10-2 run to ice the game on their way to victory.

ORLANDO MAGIC vs. HOUSTON ROCKETS
Wednesday, Dec. 23. 7:00 p.m.
Amway Arena
Orlando, FL

The Orlando Magic (21-7, 11-2 home) continue their homestand on Wednesday when they take on the Houston Rockets (17-11, 9-7 road) at 7 p.m. ET. The Rockets have had their share of adversity this year, losing Yao Ming for the season and playing much of it without star Tracy McGrady. McGrady, a former Magic player and cousin of eight-time All-Star Vince Carter, recently made his return to the court on December 15 and is averaging 1.8 points per game in a limited role that has him playing just eight minutes per contest. “I feel good,” McGrady said after Monday’s practice. “I’m very excited to be back. I’m still trying to knock off the rust, but it’s coming.” Orlando will look to reverse its fortune against Houston, who has claimed 12 of the last 14 regular season meetings with the Magic.

The good and the bad of Vince Carter

The bad: It's been a very difficult past 7 games shooting for Magic SG Vince Carter, as he has shot just 36 of 103 (35.0%) from the field, including just 9 of 31 (29%) on three pointers. For the season, he is shooting a career-low 39.9% from the field, and a second career-low 33.6% on three pointers.

The good: In the past 7 games, Carter is shooting 38 of 44 (86.4%) from the free throw line, along with 5.9 rebounds per game and 3.9 assists per game, with an assist/turnover ratio of 2.7/1. For the season, Carter is the leading scorer on the Magic at 18.6 points per game and is shooting a career-high 85.1% from the free throw line, along with 5.1 rebounds and 3.1 assists.

Summary: While Carter has struggled with his shooting for much of the season, he is making the effort to get to the free throw line on his drives to the basket, as shown by the fact he is second on the Magic in FT attempts; he is getting his teammates involved passing (especially lately), has a very good assist/turnover ratio, and he is an above-average rebounder for his position. Carter has the lowest turnover percentage on the Magic, and is third among the regular rotation in Player Efficiency Rating.

Game review: Magic (21-7) 104, Jazz (16-12) 99

After a sluggish first half offensively, the Magic came alive in the second half to score 64 points and finished on a great closing run, scoring 25 points in the final 7 1/2 minutes to come away with the victory. Four players finished the game with at least 18 points for the Magic.

In a first quarter which saw both teams shoot poorly, the Magic led 19-18 after one. Nelson to return tonight from injury

Here is an article from cbssports.com about the status of Magic point guard Jameer Nelson:

Nelson to return, back up Williams at point for Magic

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Jameer Nelson is back for the Orlando Magic.

Coach Stan Van Gundy says the All-Star point will return against the Utah Jazz on Monday night. Nelson will come off the bench in place of Jason Williams, pushing Anthony Johnson back into a reserve role.

Nelson has not played since he had surgery Nov. 18 to repair torn cartilage in his left knee. He practiced for the first time in about a month Sunday. He was averaging 13.7 points and 5.5 assists before getting hurt.

This won't be the first time he has returned from surgery.

Nelson injured his right shoulder in February and had it repaired. In a surprise move, he returned early for the NBA Finals but struggled as Orlando lost to the Los Angeles Lakers in five games.

The week ahead for the Magic

The Magic begin the week at about the 1/3 mark of the NBA season with a record of 20-7 (10-2 home, 10-5 away), and a conference record of 15-4. The Magic lead the SE division by 1/2 game over Atlanta. At this 1/3 mark of the season, the Magic are the second seed in the East, 1/2 game ahead of Cleveland and 1 1/2 games behind top seed Boston.

The Magic play three games this week, all at home:

Dec. 21st: Utah (16-11, 5-7 road)... The Magic will try to get revenge against the Jazz after inexplicably losing a 19 point lead and being blown out at Utah two weeks ago, and being carved up by PG Deron Williams
Dec. 23rd: Houston (16-11, 9-7 road)... Tracy McGrady, who made his season debut last week, makes his return to Orlando, as the Magic have had difficulty beating the Rockets at home over the years
Dec. 25th: Boston (21-5, 12-1 road)... The Celtics have that spectacular road record, but had their 11 game winning streak snapped in a stunning loss at home to Philadelphia last week; Celtics will be looking to avenge a home loss to the Magic in November

Very tough schedule for the Magic this week, even though they are all at home; to finish 3-0 would be great, but 2-1 is more likely. Magic PG Jameer Nelson is likely to return from arthroscopic knee surgery this week.

Game review: Magic (20-7) 92, TrailBlazers (16-12) 83

The Magic overcame a sluggish night offensively and a game-high 33 points from Portland's Brandon Roy with an otherwise tremendous defensive effort against Portland as the Magic pulled away in the final quarter.

The lead changed hands several times in the second quarter, with the Blazers taking control at the end of the half with a 44-39 lead. The Blazers led by as much as 6 points in the third quarter, but the Magic came back to take a one point lead before the score was tied at 65 at the end of three. ORLANDO MAGIC vs PORTLAND TRAIL BLAZERS
Saturday, Dec. 19. 7:00 p.m.

Amway Arena
Orlando, FL

The Magic (19-7, 9-2 home) close out their four-game week when they battle the Portland Trail Blazers (16-11, 6-7 road) on Saturday at 7 p.m. ET at Amway Arena. The matchup initially looked to feature two of the league’s best young centers in All-Star Dwight Howard and Portland’s Greg Oden. However, after Oden went down with a season-ending knee injury, the matchup now has a completely different feel. Portland is 3-3 since losing their young big man, including a double-overtime loss to the Milwaukee Bucks. The Magic will likely look to capitalize on the Trail Blazers’ misfortune and work the ball inside to Howard. With a thinned frontline, it will make it difficult for Portland to consistently foul the Magic’s All-Star center, a tactic that many of Orlando’s opponents have recently employed to force him to shoot free throws rather than attack the rack from the field. Whichever approach Portland decides to take is of no concern to Howard. “I just look at the big picture,” Howard said. “Sometimes it’s tough, but I just have to keep my composure and understand what other teams are trying to do.”

Game review: Magic (19-6) 118, Raptors (11-17) 99

The Magic, thanks to a very efficient offense with 6 players in double figures and Dwight Howard's near triple-double, spoiled Hedo Turkoglu's return to Orlando as the Magic led by as many as 25 points in the fourth quarter in the victory over Toronto.

Wednesday, Dec. 16. 7:00 p.m.
Amway Arena
Orlando, FL

The Magic (18-6, 8-2 home) will welcome back their former teammate Hedo Turkoglu to Orlando for the first time this season when they host his Toronto Raptors (11-16, 4-11 road) on Wednesday at 7 p.m. ET. After firing off a career-high 27 points while starting in Orlando’s 125-116 triumph on November 1, Redick followed it up with a 19-point showing off the bench in the Magic’s 104-96 win over the Raptors on November 22. “I’ve been around enough that I’m going to play the same way that I always play,” Redick explained. “Whether I start or I come off the bench, I’ll be prepared no matter what.”

Game review: Magic (18-6) 106, Pacers (8-14) 98

Playing their first home game after a four game road trip, the Magic came out horribly flat and dug themselves a deep hole to get out of, falling behind by as much as 17 points to Indiana early in the second quarter. Thanks to a strong effort from Vince Carter, who led the Magic in scoring despite playing with a stomach ailment; thanks to a strong effort from the Magic bench who brought the Magic back in the game in the second quarter, and thanks to a 21 point, 22 rebound effort from Dwight Howard, the Magic fought back for the win.

After the Magic scored the first 2 points of the game, the Pacers went on a 21-4 tear, and led the Magic after one 30-17, as the Magic shot an icy 6 of 23. Other than Carter, the Magic shot 1 of 13 in the first quarter. The week ahead for the Magic

Orlando Magic logo
The Magic begin this week with a record of 17-6 (7-2 home, 10-4 road), tied for first place in the SE with Atlanta. Boston remains the top seed in the East with a 19-4 record, while Cleveland, at 17-7, has the fourth seed.

The Magic have four games this week, none outside the state of Florida:

Monday, Dec. 14th: Indiana (8-13, 3-7 road) The Pacers are without Danny Granger for several weeks
Wednesday, Dec. 16th: Toronto (11-15, 4-10 road) Hedo Turkoglu makes his return to Orlando as the Raptors continue to struggle despite having a talented roster
Thursday, Dec. 17th: at Miami (11-11, 5-4 road) Heat have lost 10 of their last 15 games, but one of those wins was in Orlando
Saturday, Dec. 19th: Portland (14-11, 6-7 road) Greg Oden's season-ending injury sets Blazers back

After two tough road losses at Utah and Phoenix, Magic should get back on track this week, with a good chance at winning all 4 games; with a worst-case scenario of 3-1.

Game review: Suns (16-7) 106, Magic (17-6) 103

The Magic made a valiant comeback attempt after being down 19 points in the second quarter, but could not overcome 20 pts and 18 assists from Steve Nash and 28 points and 10 rebounds from Amar'e Stoudemire as Phoenix was able to hold on to remain the NBA's lone unbeaten team at home.

The Magic started out very slowly, as the Suns jumped out to a 24-9 first quarter lead as the Magic went nearly 7 1/2 minutes without making a field goal. The Suns led 33-22 after one, and extended their lead by as much as 41-22 with 9 1/2 minutes remaining in the second quarter. The Magic slowly pulled themselves back to trail 61-52 at the half. The Suns went back up by 75-61 with just over 7 minutes remaining in the third before the Magic came back to pull within 85-81 after three. The Magic took their first lead at 90-89, and led by as much as 95-91 with under 6 1/2 minutes remaining. The Suns scored 4 points in a row to tie, and from that point on, the lead changed hands several times. The Magic had their last lead at 103-102 with 1:24 remaining. After the Suns took a 104-103 lead, Anthony Johnson, who played well off the bench in the fourth in place of an ineffective Jason Williams, tried a three pointer, but it went in and out. After a rare turnover by Nash, Johnson dribbled the ball off Mickael Pietrus's foot out-of-bounds as Pietrus went running in front of Johnson as the Magic were setting up on offense. On the ensuing Suns' possession, Stoudemire then grabbed an offensive rebound away from Rashard Lewis and slammed home a missed three with 6.9 seconds remaining. Lewis airballed a three on the Magic's last possession, and a jump ball allowed the Suns to run out the clock.

ORLANDO MAGIC at PHOENIX SUNS
Friday, Dec. 11. 10:30 p.m. ESPN
US Airways Center
Phoenix, AZ

The Orlando Magic (17-5, 10-3 road) close out their West Coast trip on Friday when they take on the Phoenix Suns (15-7, 7-0 home) at 10:30 p.m. ET. After facing the arduous task of attempting to win in Utah the night before, Orlando will have to find a way to defeat Phoenix, the league’s only remaining undefeated team at home, on a back-to-back. The Suns are third in the league in scoring, so the Magic will need to bring their best defensive effort in order to leave Phoenix with a victory. “The problem with Phoenix is they create so many problems, particularly in their pick-and-roll game with (Steve) Nash and (Amar’e) Stoudemire, and then they put shooting around them,” Magic Head Coach Stan Van Gundy explained following their first matchup with the Suns this season. "You can be playing pretty good defense and look pretty bad at times." In their first matchup with the Suns this season, Orlando rolled to a 122-100 home victory, courtesy of a big night from Dwight Howard. The Magic’s All-Star center erupted for 17 of his team-high 25 points in the third quarter to help Orlando pull away for good. The Magic will once again need a dominant performance from Howard in order to help them exploit Phoenix’s lack of interior size.

Lewis/Van Gundy controversy

According to an article in the Orlando Sentinel from Brian Schmitz, the Magic's Rashard Lewis refused to enter the game last night against Utah in the second quarter when coach Stan Van Gundy asked him to.

Some excerpts:

"(Lewis) didn't want to go back in. I wanted to put him back in with six minutes to go in the second quarter and he didn't want to go back in," Van Gundy said after the Magic (17-5) had their six-game winning streak broken. "He said it was because he had two fouls, and so if you have a guy who doesn't want to play, I'm not going to get in an argument and put him back in if he doesn't want to play at that time.

"He said, `I'm going back in and be out in three or four minutes and Ryan (Anderson) is playing good.'

"I didn't have time to get into it. It's rare and I've never had that in the first half of a game. I was a little baffled by it.'

Asked if he was being defiant, Lewis said, "No, hell, no. I was looking at it and Ryan had 14 points and I had two fouls. Let him play. "

The Magic took control of the game early, as Ryan Anderson scored 11 points in the first quarter as Rashard Lewis was on the bench with 2 quick fouls as the Magic led 35-22 after one. The Magic continued their hot shooting for a while in the second before the Jazz came back and cut ther Magic lead to 60-52 at the half. The Jazz totally dominated the second half, as the Magic's last lead of the game came at the 8:18 mark of the third quarter 63-62. The Magic were able to get within 2 points at 80-78 late in the quarter, but the Jazz extended their lead to 90-81 after three. ORLANDO MAGIC at L.A. CLIPPERS
Tuesday, Dec. 8. 10:30 p.m
STAPLES Center

Los Angeles, CA

The Orlando Magic continue their four-game West Coast trip on Tuesday when they visit the Los Angeles Clippers at 10:30 p.m. ET. The Magic will attempt to notch their eighth straight road win, which will set a franchise record for most consecutive victories away from home in one season. Owners of the second-best road record in the NBA, the Magic are 9-2 this season away from Amway Arena, demonstrating that they’re equally as effective on the road as they are in the comforts of home. “We like playing on the road and like the atmosphere that the road brings us,” Magic All-Star center Dwight Howard explained. “We feed off the energy of knowing that we have to go into somebody else’s building and quiet that crowd and get the win.” In addition to setting a franchise mark as a result of their road success, the Magic will also have the opportunity to jump out to their best start in franchise history. Currently 16-4, the Magic can match the best start in team history after 21 games with a victory over the Clippers. Only twice before (1994-95 and 1995-96) has the team opened up 17-4 and never in its 21-year history has Orlando started off the season 18-4.

The week ahead for the Magic

The Magic enter this week with a 16-4 record, 7-2 at home and 9-2 on the road. The Magic are tied for first in the East with Boston (16-4), and are tied for the second best record in the NBA. The LA Lakers have the best mark at 16-3, but have played the fewest road games in the league with just four.

The Magic close out their 4 game road trip this week with 3 games:

Tuesday Dec. 8th: at LA Clippers (9-11, 6-6 home)
Thursday Dec. 10th: at Utah (11-8. 8-3 home)
Friday Dec. 11th: at Phoenix (15-6, 7-0 home)

Utah and Phoenix will be the toughest games this week, with the Suns the only unbeaten team at home in the NBA. I would be happy with a 2-1 Magic record for this week's games.

ORLANDO MAGIC at GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS
Saturday, Dec. 5. 10:30 p.m.
Oracle Arena
Oakland, CA

2009-10 Television Schedule

The Orlando Magic will look for their seventh straight road win on Saturday when they head to the West Coast to face the Golden State Warriors (6-12) at 10:30 p.m. ET. The Magic swept the Warriors in their two meetings last season and have won 13 of their last 19 matchups overall. As in years past, offensive production hasn’t been a problem for Golden State. The Warriors are currently third in the league, averaging 109.4 points per game. Monta Ellis has set the tone for their offense over the past five games, erupting for 28.8 ppg. However, the Warriors are still in need of immense improvement on the defensive end. Golden State is currently giving up an NBA-worst 113.6 points per contest, while allowing opponents to shoot over 50 percent from the field. While the Magic shouldn’t have any problems on the offensive end, they’ll need to be at peak defensive efficiency in order to leave Golden State with a victory. If their last three games have been any indication, Magic Head Coach Stan Van Gundy is pleased with the direction Orlando’s defense is headed. “I thought we’ve worked very hard,” Van Gundy explained. “All three nights our defense got better as the night went on.”

Gortat expresses his unhappiness

Here are excerpts from an article written by Brian Schmitz in Thursday evening's online Orlando Sentinel detailing Magic backup center Marcin Gortat's displeasure with his recent playing time:

"I love the organization, but I'm not going to stay here being a back-up player and playing five minutes a game," Gortat said. "I hope people understand that. I know I can have a bigger role on another team."

Except that this season he just started a new five-year contract with the Magic. Only a trade can provide a bigger role on another team.

Perhaps Gortat's frustration should not come as a surprise. He was less than enthused when the Magic matched the Dallas Mavericks' offer of five years, $34-million this past summer for the restricted free agent from Poland. He likely would have been the Mavs' starting center.

He said he'll likely meet with coach Stan Van Gundy after the season to discuss his future and direct his agent, Guy Zucker, to talk with general manager Otis Smith.

"I really don't think about this now. But at some point, I want to have the chance to sit down with coach Van Gundy and tell him how I feel and where I want to go with my career," Gortat said. "I'm 100 percent sure coach will understand and will do the right thing for me and the team.

"My agent will talk to Otis. But it's too early to say anything."

Gortat has not been happy with his recent playing time. After getting considerable minutes early (averaging 18.6 in his first 14 games) — largely because Howard was in foul trouble — Gortat has played seven, eight, seven and six minutes during the last four games. He has scored four points and grabbed eight rebounds with two blocks.

Van Gundy said that Gortat, a hustle player, is lacking energy.

"He's not playing to the level he played at a year ago. He's not rebounding at that level. He's not running at that level. His energy level is not as high on a consistent basis as it was a year ago. But that's not to say that he's playing poorly. Marcin helps us a great deal," Van Gundy said.

Van Gundy believes Gortat will bounce back to play a pivotal role.

"I think as the year goes on, you'll see him play better and better," Van Gundy said. "We'll see him back at the level he was at a year ago or even better."

Game night preview

From the Magic press release:
ORLANDO MAGIC vs NEW YORK KNICKS
Wednesday, Dec. 2. 7:00 p.m.
Amway Arena
Orlando, FL

Tickets Available

The Orlando Magic (14-4) will attempt to earn their fourth consecutive victory when they complete a home-and-home swing with the New York Knicks (4-14) at 7 p.m. ET on Wednesday at Amway Arena. In their only meeting this season, Orlando defeated New York, 114-102, courtesy of a balanced offensive attack led by Magic All-Star forward Rashard Lewis. Lewis had his best offensive performance of the season, firing off a team-high 26 points. Dwight Howard also got in on the act, posting 24 points and 16 rebounds, while Vince Carter poured in 23 points. “I think Rashard, the way he plays, it just helps all of us out,” Howard explained. “The way he shoots the ball, when he drives, his defense, all that stuff, it helps us out and we missed that for the first 10 games.” While the Magic left New York with a win on Sunday, completing a perfect three-game road swing, they’re fully aware that they’ll have to make a number of improvements in order to pull off the same feat in Orlando on Wednesday. Tasks No. 1 and 2: Find a way to limit Nate Robinson, who erupted for 22 of his 24 points in the fourth quarter against the Magic, and figure out a solution to defending New York’s pick and rolls. “Nate did an excellent job of coming in the game and making some offense for their team,” Howard said of Robinson’s fourth-quarter effort.
“They are a tough team; their offense is very good. They move the ball well, shoot the ball well and their pick and roll is one of the toughest we’ve played against all year. That is one thing we have to work on when we play them again, containing the pick and roll.”
